The Different Types of Cheese

Cheese plays a big role in human race. Thinking about cheese’s life story makes me amaze because of its dramatic evolution; from single discovery of the original cheese up to today’s various new discoveries of different cheese classification. cheese’s culture and history tells the world about its own fame.

In lined with our topic that is cheese, in this article I am going to share some facts about them.
There are various types and classifications of cheese. It varies with the age and how it is being processed. It also varies from what animal you get the milk from; either they are from:

Cow’s Milk
Goat’s Milk
Sheep’s Milk
Buffalo’s Milk
Mixed Milk (any combination from the above milks)

These different sources of cheese gives your cheese different tastes. That is the reason why there are lots of classifications of cheese. And there would be different styles of manufacturing cheese. Out of these milk sources these are some of the types of cheese that are available to satisfy your taste buds:

Blue Cheese: This is widely used in the community. This classification came from cow’s milk, sheep’s milk or goat’s milk. This cheese contains Penicillium that gives the cheese a dotted bluish color in it. This also gives this type of cheese a one-of-a-kind flavor and aroma.

Soft and Fresh Cheese: This type of cheese can be consisted of the different sources of cheese. This cheese type is most likely the natural type. Its flavor does not seem to be strong. It has soft texture. This type of cheese should be consumed in no time since it is likely to be molded easily because of its nature and preparation. The soft cheese has a bit higher position in age than the fresh cheese.

Semi-soft Cheese: These are more firm that the fresh cheese. This has a richer flavor. This type of cheese is useful in cooking any recipes that need cheese in it. This is commonly used in kitchens.

Hard-type Cheese: This type of cheese is an old aged cheese. This could be used in sprinkling cheese to add flavor in a favorite treat.

Stinky Cheese: This type of cheese may have a different odor but its taste gives unique flavor to a dish.
